The U.S. is home to more than 1,500 casinos, more than any other country on the planet. Nominees were chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA Today; editors from 10Best.com; relevant expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties. This win is added to the extensive list of awards Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has won since opening in August 2014, including 80 readers and guest choice awards from various media outlets, 2017 Growing Sioux City Award, the 2016 Pride of Sioux City Award, 2015 Iowa Tourism Award for Outstanding Attraction and three years running as a AAA Four Diamond Rated Hotel.
